Camping in Scotland at Atholl Estates
Camping in Scotland is becoming increasingly popular as more and more people realise just how enjoyable it can be.
Located conveniently close to Pitlochry, our campsite welcomes all guests, although we must stress that Blair Castle Caravan Park is used extensively by families and mature couples.
We thus enforce park rules on noise, and this is most relevant to the tented areas where disturbance at night is most sensitive. Our 11pm noise curfew must, therefore, be noted and strictly respected by all our guests.
We have over 100 grass pitches, ranging in size from 4m to 7m square, with nightly charges starting at £15. For those with larger tents, we have our premier pitches along the River Tilt bank at 8m x 7m, with nightly charges starting at £27.
Many of the pitches are serviced with water and have the option of an electrical connection. Rates will vary depending on the number of adults or children staying (the base rate assumes 2 adults), vehicles and dogs (max. 2).
Camping, Pitlochry: Facilities
Our site boasts some of the best facilities you'll find when camping in Pitlochry and the surrounding area. We have washing up, shower and toilet facilities located conveniently close to the pitches, never more than 50 yards from your tent.
Camping guests enjoy all the services of the park and have access to roam into the many miles of estate land beyond. Blair Atholl is immediately adjacent to the park and offers a wonderful insight into a traditional Highland village with a good range of restaurants and places of interest.
Guests also benefit from a subsidised entry price to Blair Castle, Scotland’s leading private historic house which helps to make a tented holiday with us both affordable and very memorable.
