With 9 acres of green open space at its heart, five star facilities and a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere it is easy to see why Blair Castle Caravan Park is a favourite Scottish holiday destination. Adjacent to the historic landscape of Blair Castle, and surrounded by the spectacular mountain scenery of Highland Perthshire, the park is an excellent central location for touring being at the foot of the Cairngorms National Park and just two hours drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness. The park features a multi-purpose reception building which houses a games room, small shop for everyday essentials, internet gallery and a launderette. Outside you can burn off some holiday energy on the miniature football pitch, putting green or playground. The park is also home to the Atholl Hair & Beauty Rooms so you can enjoy a beauty treatment, alternative therapy or a haircut while you stay with us. The park has over 280 hard-standing and grass pitches for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. Most of the pitches can accommodate awnings and gazebos and many are supplied with mains services. The park’s five toilet and shower blocks are all heated, with individual cubicles, showers, baby changing rooms and dish-washing areas. The park is regularly visited by the native red squirrel and enjoys easy access to Atholl Estates’ 40-mile network of way-marked trails for walkers and cyclists. Nearby attractions include Blair Castle (open daily throughout the summer) and pony trekking at Blair Castle Trekking Centre. Nature-lovers can enjoy walks and talks with the Atholl Estates Ranger Service who are based in Blair Atholl village, just opposite the park. Fishing is also available on the estates 3 renowned salmon rivers and 3 hillside lochs (in season). Other local attractions include Blair Atholl Watermill & Cafe, Blair Atholl Golf Club, Blair Atholl Country Life Museum and Highland shopping emporium, the House of Bruar.
